07-26-03, 09:30 AM Just got UE and read about the demon lord Eltab who has been, and may still be, a prisoner in the city of Eltabbar. Is there any more information on this matter anywhere else in the book or from other sources? And is there any maps detailing the city?

Come on guys help me out here... someone must know something..:bigeyes:

There is a modual for that part of the Thay's history in the old Spellbound Box Set. Also I believe its originally mentioned in the Dreams of the Red Wizards sourcebook. Which was written long before Spellbound.

Thanks.... But that's it?! I mean the capital of thay was a prison for a demon lord and no one knows anything about it?!

If you were a high ranking Red Wizard and had a demon lord imprisoned in your castle, would you tell anyone? ;)

The man behind it all was of course Szass Tam. He imprisoned Eltab with the help of some artifacts he got from Larloch.

This was all part of another one of his plots to unite Thay under his banner, a ploy which eventually failed.

If I may ask where is this info if not in the sources mentioned by Kuje31?

07-27-03, 06:11 PM It's from the sources allready mentioned.. I believe there may also be some mention of the events in Lords of Darkness as well, not sure.
