Elven Bond? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-11-05, 03:38 PM In 2nd Ed. Elves had the ability to 'bond' with a soulmate. Is this something still extant in 3.5? I've consulted the books I have, but unfortunately I suffer to an extreme case of tunnelvision, I sometimes miss things which are hidden right out in the open. If the answer is painfully obvious, I apologise in advance.

06-11-05, 03:58 PM I see no reason to remove it and Ed has said, last year, that the Elves of FR do have a lot of the material from the Complete Book of Elves. :)

06-11-05, 04:07 PM Mechanically though, it'd likely convert into a feat along the lines of Thunder Blessing for dwarves, or certain drow specialities.

(Having checked the CBoE, throwing in the communion ability at the same price might be in order if a feat was written on the stuff.)

Mongooses 1st Quin elven book made it a feat. :)
