My group has been working on this idea for some time now, and we have just gotten to the point where we can move from being just a large group of fortified brigands to a real nation. I was hopeing for some suggestion on how we could accomplish this. But I think I should give you some history as well as a list of characters and the assets we have at our disposal.

Characters

KeyGon Djinn: half-human/half-leshay, 5 rogue/6 fighter (Leader)
Valician Telepalda: half-celestial/half-elf, 4 paladin
Donon Amriphil: elf, 7 fighter
Haldier: elf, 7 cleric

History

KeyGon, Haldier, and Valician have advetured together in the past and are quite trusting of one another. An adventure in Tourch (on the Old Road south of Chondalwood) gave them control of a small, conceled tree fort (for lack of better words). From this base they bagan to raid caravans and merchants. After some very successful raids and contributing their personal wealth, the characters had enough gold to begin constructing a fortified complex. After constructing much of this the band, known as the "Green Hand" they began to recruit warriors out of the elven tribes still living within the forest. After catching wind of the elven activity within the the wood, the merchants of Illjak (whos trade and lumberjacks were hit hardest) sent and army against us and our followers. We destroyed said army and sent emisaries to determin exactly what the terms of surrender would be. The emisaries were detained and jailed and were schedualed of exicution. But luckily escaped and made it back to our complex and that brings me to where we are now.

Assets

60 elf, 4th lvl warriors (40 foot soldiers, 15 light cavilry, 5 deepwood snipers)

I would apperciate any suggestions anyone has to offer.

Half leshay? What's the racial adjustment for that? A leshay is almost a demigod.

Anyway, to make a nation you need many, many more elves. Here's suggestions on how to get some, while not straining the population of Evermeet or not even using the FRCS.

- Thousands of years ago, the elves of the wood decided to flee to another plane to escape the dangers plaguing Faerun (like the star elves).

- Due to the aggressiveness of humanity, the elves decided to hibernate until humanity learned restraint or destroyed itself.

- Deep within the wood, there is a huge secret elven city. No one, not even other elves know of this city, hence why it has been able to escape notice.

- You find that the elves of the forest have been placed under a spell. You find the source of this spell and destroy it, freeing the elves (great adventure idea)

Well that's all that came from the top of my head. Always ready to aid a fledgling elven nation.

Thanks, very much for the ideas. Yes, the leshay part sort of complicated, as my char. elvels and ages, he begins to get more leshay type features, like now, he is CR 11 and have just gotten a very slight silver tint to his hair, and a cha bonus of +2. so, he sort of has to grow into his leshay-ness. To even get the full amount of bonuses he will have to make it to epic levle.
