I have been going crazy the past couple days with google searches trying to find the Espruar font depicted on p86 of the FRCS. Every time I hit a file to look at, I get something more resembling the Thorass alphabet. And I keep hitting my desk like Bill Clinton - NO NO NO NO NO!

I later learned that these font files I keep getting turn out to be a previous version of Espruar. Now I'm truly at my wits' end here. I don't know how else to describe precisely what I'm looking for without whipping out my scanner.

I'm looking for the Espruar 3rd Edition font, preferably TTF. If I must, I'll hook up my scanner, scan the page, and post the image that shows precisely the font I'm looking for, but it's a pain to do so.

HELP!!!

Even if it's a commercial font, please tell me!

I remember going to a site that asked if you wanted to download all of the fonts in order to view the site correctly, but I can't remember it. Every once in a while someone on the boards posts it.....maybe you'll get lucky. Posting an email address can be helpful too.

As a rule, I do NOT post my email address anywhere for spam reasons. (You'd figure spammers would get a clue - I mean, corporations spend MILLIONS - that's no joke - on blocking spam, people spend money on personal anti-spamware, and so on.)

However, my mailbox is cdrradar, and my ISP is speakeasy.net. People should be able to figure it out without casting a divination, or manifesting a clairsentient power, or . . . :)

I was sad to see the original Espruar font tossed aside with 3rd Edition... I'm not at all fond of the new representation of Espruar, and it would force me to alter previous sketches, notes, and other bits of my campaign to change over.

Thanks to the guys who worked on the FRCS for trying, but the old font still works just fine for me.

(And by "trying" in this context, I mean "trying to screw me up with another stupid, altered detail." I mean, its one thing for a new bunch of people to come onto a project like the entirety of the Forgotten Realms and do their best to make their mark on the setting by clarifying old things and adding new things, but outright changes that have no logical in-story explanation have got to be the thing that makes me hate a game designer more than anything else!)

Coron's Fonts (http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Alley/1557/fonts1.htm) has a huge range of fantasy fonts including Espruar, as well as various Tengwar = Tolkien, non D&D roleplaying and historical runes.
