Caelum 01-05-04, 01:40 PM	Does anyone have any ideas about the military rankings of Evereska's military? We are trying to determine what the ranking names are for campaign purposes.
Hoondatha 01-05-04, 04:25 PM	I don't think Evereska has ever been that fully detailed. However, if you're looking for military ranks, why not try those of Myth Drannor? In the Fall of Myth Drannor supplement they explicitly stated what the ranks were, and how large a command each had. Here, I'll include it. Akh'Velahr (everyone who's not a wizard) Rank/Group/# troops without officers Nilaa/ Detachment/ 3 troops Iolaa/ Section/ 2 detachments Nikym/ Platoon/ 3 sections Shaalth/ Unit/ two platoons Nikerym/ Company/ three units Kerym/ Battalion/ two companies Penaal/ Brigade/ three battalions Arykerym/ Regiment/ two brigades Arkerym/ Legion/ three regiments Arms-Captain/ everyone, second in command Arms-Major/ everyone Akh/Faer (wizards) (in all cases it's an r, then an n; not m) Faerniir/ Ring/ 4 troops Faernil/ / two rings Faernaa/ Circle/ four rings Faernos/ / two circles Faerne/ Sphere/ four circles Faernae/ / two spheres Arfaern/ Wing/ four spheres Spell-Captain/ Flight/ two wings Spell-Major: everyone (four flights) Probably more than you were expecting, but there you go: officer ranks and commands in Myth Drannor at the time of the Fall (and, actually, for its recorded history). I reccomend both the Cormanthyr box set and Fall of Myth Drannor adventure as places to look for more info.
