Dargoth 03-15-07, 01:39 AM	Anyone know what character level expedition to Undermountain is designed for? Expedition to Greyahwk and Expedition to Demonweb both have there levels given in there product write ups on the WOTC site but its not given in the Expedition to Undermountain write up
WALNUTT 03-15-07, 02:40 AM	look in the module and see what the average CR of each encounter is then make ur pc's around that level, I know I have never had any pc go into the underdark that were under levle 15 (but that was becasue we could face the full force of the underdark)

Uinidal 03-15-07, 04:07 AM	There were five undermountain books at the 2nd edition.Three of them formed an adventure trilogy which was for 5-9 level characters up to 10-14.The other two (about 230 pages each) were accesory like and had a description of all the Undermountain levels,thus they had encounters of all kinds.So if Expedition is an adventure you may expect anything from lowest levels up to epic cause undermountain is SO huge that you can find anything.In any case if you have the storyline and the areas detailed you can make your own adjustments by changing the creatures you encounter in order to match your character levels(e.g. Let's say that there is a room with 4 orcs.If your players are to strong for them than you can change orcs with ogres or give them some levels as fighters).Finally since undermountain is considered to be a rather dangerous place i expect an adventure for middle level characters(6th-10th probably).But you have to wait for three months so we can only make speculations.
