| Thistle Rosewood08-08-06, 05:29 PM | greetings Just wanted to know, if anyone else noticed, and if anyone knows if they plan on changing it, but alot of the Center of Faerun ( the campaign setting map.) does not have books out on it. Minamal development in the campain setting .....the Chondelwood, the Turmish, Chondath, Chessenta, none have books developing them further, and somehow, thats where my party is, sigh. All around the Outside of the map has books. ( and I have them all, where does my party end up, sigh, in a place I have only the setting for ) Does anyone know, if they are planning on Developing these areas further. It would be great if the could. Thanks bunches Miss Thistle Rosewood. |

Most of those places would be covered in a Vilhon Reach book, but there are many other regions to go -- the Dales, Cormyr, Sembia, the Dragon Coast and the Western Heartlands among them -- and there's no sign what the order will be. But you can find more on Turmish and Chondath in Vilhon Reach (available free here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads)) and "An Overview of Chondath" (http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Castle/2566/chondath-main.htm), and Chessenta in FR10 Old Empires (http://paizo.com/store/brand/forgottenRealms/roleplayingGames/2ndEdition/v5748btpy7mkt). Several recent novels are also set in those lands. Bear in mind that the FRCS is a compact survey of decades of published Realmslore; it's not that these areas haven't been developed but that the material is either out of print or resides in Ed Greenwood's 100+ boxes of unpublished notes. |
