Having the other map I recieved with my copy of FRCS utterly destroyed by an unfortunate soda spill, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get a new map besides going to the nearest book store an tearing one out when no ones looking.

Thanks ahead of time.

You could try contacting WotC Customer Service and asking them.

Alternatively, there was the large-FR poster map series from DRAGON as well -- in four parts (issues #287-290.) Try paizo.com or nobleknight.com or dragontrove.com for the specific back issues.

I might buy a second FRCS

One for my shelf

Another for play, and poster on the wall/game use. :)

You could order the 2nd edition "Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting" on Ebay. I see one for $15, including shipping. There's a big two-part map in that, which doesn't quite match up to the 3e map but may be more interesting because of that. It depends on how many of the 2e supplements you use for background, I'd say.

If you look up the Forgotten Realms geography on wikipedia.org they have a nice LARGE map of the Realms, not sure how it looks compaired to the one that got ruined, but it is free and worth looking at.
