Who are the two gods on the cover of Faiths and Pantheons?

I assume Bane and Torm?

Any ideas?

Also, the smaller figure has a symbol on his breast plate, does anyone know what it is?

Torm ? I'm not sure. Because of the symbol on his breath. It's not the typical sign of Torm...

09-12-07, 06:13 PM For me, the other guy looks a lot like Heironeous from Dieties and Demigods, but since he isnt in FR the closest i could come to is maybe a paladin of Tyr since Tyr's symbol is the closest in shape to that on the chest of the other character.

Well, I've always called Faiths and Pantheons "Fates and Pantyhose". :P

09-13-07, 08:18 PM I thought Torm had the head of a Lion during that battle? I seem to recall that... I know he absorbed the stone Lion he brought to life to prove himself to Aldon (I think that was his name).

09-14-07, 12:03 AM yep, Torm had a lion's head during the battle with Bane. I think the picture on cover of F&P is just a vague representation of that battle for those who haven't read that book.

09-14-07, 10:33 AM -The battle between Bane and Torm is, perhaps, the most famous battle concerning any deities of the Realms. It's obviously Bane, and the knight-looking figure, must be Torm.
