Wooly Rupert 01-05-04, 09:12 PM	That's three magic rings, plus the signet ring... In the fiction, her royal signet was enspelled, too... Another Realms chic is statted out here: http://www.selvarin.com/Mintiper_asilther.htm (Asilther Graelor originally appeared in Dragon) I'll have to look for it, but I remember another article in Dragon, about a lady mage who was somehow able to turn herself into a cat at will... I'll dig up the info on her later.
Wooly Rupert 01-05-04, 11:28 PM	Okay, found it. There is, wandering around in the North, a lady mage named Elsura Dauniir. She was described in Dragon 172, which was back before they started cranking out the Complete Handbooks series... She was a 19th level wizard who had the odd ability to shape change at will into a cat. I'd stat her out, but I've not yet gotten the 3.5 books, and I'm not ambitious enough to flip her over from 2nd edition, anyway. Anyone who wants to do that, she and Baelam "The Bold" are on pages 98 thru 100 of that issue of Dragon. Cloak & Dagger updates her a bit. On page 30, she is mentioned as being a member of the Tel'Teukiira, and is now at 20th level.
Green Giant 01-06-04, 02:05 AM	Elsura Dauniir and Baelam the Bold also appear in Ruins of Myth Drannor boxed set p.102-104. They also have stats for other characters, Emrock Uerngulphim the Mad Merchant and Buckal "Buttons" Boldover, mad and evil halfling. I've posted stats for Baelam the Bold in the Realms NPC Characters thread. As for famous female adventurers of the Realms, you can't go wrong with the Company of the Catlash ;) , an all female adventuring group also found in Ruins of Myth Drannor boxed set.

Ah, you're right, I had forgotten those entries in the Myth Drannor set. They appear to be almost identical to the entries that were in Dragon. As for Emrock Uerngulphim, he was also detailed in Dragon 182. Yeah, after I made my comment, I saw your entry for Baelam the Bold. I may use that -- I like the concept of his character.

Standing about five feet tall and weighing no more than a hundred pounds, her finely sculpted features and delicately pointed ears proclaim elven heritage. Her radiant white skin is as fair as alabaster, and her loosely flowing hair is as white as newly fallen snow. Her brilliant ruby-red eyes hold a gaze of such intensity that they seem to pierce and penetrate what they look upon instead of merely viewing. Most would find her gaze intimidating, if not totally unnerving. Bianca is attired in long, flowing robes of shimmering white silk that swirl about her, making it difficult to tell where the yards of fabric end and the lady begins. On her brow is a silver circlet set with a single large ruby, and a ring of identical design adorns her left hand. She walks with a slender cane made of polished ebony with an ornately engraved silver knob-handle. She proudly wears a medallion depicting a circle of seven blue-white stars with red mist flowing from the center. Despite her refined and seemingly delicate appearance, there is nothing frail or weak about her. She exhibits an almost tangible air of ironclad confidence tempered with quiet wisdom. No weapons are evident on her person, and it is quite apparent that she has no need for any.
