Fan Fiction? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-19-07, 09:57 AM Is there a section for FR Fan Fiction. If not could someone direct me to a pretty substantial site? I kinda want to get my story out there and I realize you can submit your writing from time to time, but I would rather just share my writing for all to enjoy.

07-19-07, 10:05 AM -On the boards, there is the "Once upon a time..." section. As for a totally different website, isn't fanfiction.net, or something like that, a very large and popular website?

07-19-07, 07:33 PM If you are less interested in having your work published, and more into simply showcasing it, then perhaps Play-By-Post Roleplaying is something you might be interested in.

Basically it is the RP side of DnD, without the dice roles, and a focus on character and story development. Writing is the means by which is done, and together the site populace tells the various stories we're all involved in.

The Broken (http://forum.spacebattles.com/showthread.php?t=117972&highlight=broken) (This one is not so serious, more like insanely funny with its main protagonist being kinda the embodiment of every Samuel L Jackson role ever done...:D)
The Affairs of Dragons (http://forum.spacebattles.com/showthread.php?t=118147&highlight=affairs+dragons) (Same author as Word of Angels. Highly recommendable.)

Having fun is the goal, so we would hate to see anyone leave for reasons that can easily be remidied. :)
