| Winged_Death01-12-07, 04:54 AM | Was just wondering if there is a feat out there for mages to take to improve their leadership score. Fighters can take might makes right and add their str modifier to their leadership instead of cha. Is there a feat that allows a mage to use his int modifier? Thanks |

Look at Force of Will, it allows you to replace Wisdom's key role as the modifier for will saves, but only against specific types of will saves (against mind-affecting effects). Charisma lets you lead or inspire anyone, it should apply universally. Being the strongest ogre in a cave however should only let you lead or inspire creatures of poor intellectual capacity. I certainly cannot imagine scores of wizards being impressed or won over by someones brutish displays, while it would likely work on perhaps some INT 6 half-orc barbarians. Regardless, cutting into Charisma's territory with a feat only diminishes the ability score further, and to begin with it is already under utilized and often regarded as a disposable statistic, save for the handful of classes that consistently use it for their class features. |
