| Hideous Phidias06-30-06, 12:56 PM | I am about to play a new campaign and I am going to be a satyr. I was wondering what would be a good region for me to be from. |
| yarethon06-30-06, 01:51 PM | High forest or evermeet. |
| Gray Richardson07-01-06, 12:00 AM | Definitely the High Forrest in the North. Other options: Neverwinter Wood Cormanthor or the Chondalwood Actually, there are suitable forests near just about any city or region in the Realms, so you might ask the DM where he plans to set the campaign. :) |
| squidfur-07-01-06, 08:06 PM | Or the Border Forest, in the Dalelands (in Daggerdale), if you have a mean streak. FRCS p127 - "The forest's native inhabitants are fey, such as satyrs, pixies, grigs, and dryads. In part because of their constant fight with Zhent loggers working out of Snowmantle, Border Forest fey tend toward cruelty and violence instead of the lighthearted capriciousness typical of fey farther south." |
