| rizzard07-13-04, 02:10 PM | hello to all you faerunean DM's out there. i'm currently running the old 2e Marco volo trilogy of adventures(converted for 3.5) my pc's have gotten a little to used to dugeoneering and i wanted to flip what they thought our game was about so off i sent them on an oveland trek with plenty of villans ,ner'do'wells, and surprises . not to mention much RPing which was lacking in our previous games and is now back. so our quest will end smack dab in shadowdale if they survive. any way i got two options that seem good to keep the pc's plotline smooth. city of the spider queen will work not sure what town it takes place in but the dale lands are a perfect setting for drow plots. and i also dug up another trilogy of modules called "the sword of the dales trilogy" seems promising. So what i'm interested in learning from my peers out there is if your familiar with the two 2e modules i just mentiond let me know if you ran them played them liked them, were they boring or not and should i go with 'sword of dales" or 'spider queen'. and if there are any other adventures concerning the dales that have a good plot and even balance between RP/battles. i know the CotSQ is comdat heavy. City adventures would be good to any around moon sea or sea of fallen stars could work as well thanks in advance |
