hitman_of_evil 08-05-04, 11:58 PM	hey so far in my campaign the PC's have scouted terrain around Felbar for Emerus Warcrown and gone to teh Dead Orc Pass. Currently they are doing the Deadsnows side quests just for a short stop and a little level boostage. I am hoping to get them to level 10 by going to a forest and then to Silverymoon.. By then i wish to get into CotSQ, but i wnat an idea for a good transition from teh Marches to that (where does it start?) I also neeed an idea of wat forest for them to go to....
warlockco 08-06-04, 12:51 AM	Well the CotSQ starts in the Dalelands if you go from the complete start of the adventure. And you have a very big forest there, maybe tempt them with Myth Drannor?
hitman_of_evil 08-06-04, 05:07 PM	well i was really wanting to actually go from Deadsnows to a forest in teh Silver marches, then to Silverymoon... nebody have a good idea of getting them to Dalelands from Silverymoon... or i culd... 1. have them adventure across the terrain 2. take some type of transportation 3. portal (dont like that idea) 4. TELL ME MORE
warlockco 08-06-04, 08:58 PM	Does the party have a good reputation in the Silver Marches? If so Lady Alustriel could hire them to take something to her sister Storm in Shadawdale. As to a forest adventure in the Silver Marches, I think Red Larch is in a forest, and there is an adventure in the Silver Marches book that involves that place. Or just pick a forest in the area, and set up an adventure in there.
hitman_of_evil 08-07-04, 08:05 PM	ye that sounds like a pretty good idea.. sep for the fact taht the party is kinda evil.. Drow Rng4/Ftr1, Drow Rog3, human necro 4 (he got blind/deffness, and the drow stole all his stuff and tied him up, and are refusing to tkae him to be despelled), Ghostwise Halfing Drd 5 (he is a cannible, plz dont ask..), and another PC who is starting over.. o yes and the NPC Cierre Rng 7 (lvled up) from silver marches book (mezoberenzen spy). o ye and the two drows mission (they came up with this) is being surface scouts for mezoberenzens army and are supposed to reprot to Cierre and eventually find and kill the traitor Drizzt Do'Urden... i tink its a cool party.. exept for the fact that they would rather stab each other in the back than go do adventures..... :mad:

Have the PC's travel to (towards) Daggerdale... for any of a number of reasons (and some great ideas have already been posted) then lead the Drow Spys back towards the Menzoberranzan (perhaps to report on Surface events) via the entrance in the Crypts ... and .... viola'... Enter: City of the Spider Queen... Though based upon the the PC's ECL.... They'll definately need to level up more before tackling CotSQ
primemover003 08-11-04, 09:34 PM	Well you could always replace Cormathor with the High Forest... But the entrance to CotSQ takes place in some Hills, not a forest. Move the entrance to the Western end of Anauroch instead of it being on the East Placing Maeirmydira under the desert...
