Forgotten Realms MP3s? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-17-04, 07:53 PM Hey all, I am not really new here because I was a member a couple years ago under the name of Livindorn... But anyway...
Does anyone know where I can find working (music) MP3s for most, if
not all, the Forgotten Realms games?
Such as Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate(s), Neverwinter Nights, etc.
Interplay.com used to have them but everytime I go there I get a broken link.

Bioware.com had one Neverwinter Nights MP3, but that was it.

Oh and secondly, I know it's not related to D&D or Forgotten Realms, but does anyone know where I can find Champions of Norrath MP3s?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

11-18-04, 11:02 AM The company that did the music for the Baulder's Gate games are now selling a cd with some of the music on it. I am fuzzy on the details, but I know that it is out there. It is the music done by something like Midnight Symphony or Midnight Syndicate. I can't recall the details. It's not listed as a FR music track, but just a generic DnD music track.

11-19-04, 03:17 AM Midnight Syndicate had nothing to do with Baldur's Gate or any other Infinity Engine games. Those soundtracks were composed by Inon Zur, Jeremy Soule, and others.

There are plenty of sites which offer MP3s from those games, I just can't recall the exact URLs. Try Sorcerer's Place. There are also tools (acm2wav) that allow you to rip the music from the games in wav format, which you can then compress into MP3s.

11-19-04, 06:15 PM And the Infinity Engine lets you rip even MORE stuff that ACM2WAV can't touch. Some of the stuff comes out in pieces and you'll have to "re-string" them together to get the entire sequence in one MP3.
