JoeFirebritches 04-11-08, 10:18 AM	Hey, I seem to remember a news post a few years ago that a production company had optioned the Forgotten Realms for tv projects. I haven't heard anything since. Is there a FR series or telemovie stuck in production hell, or is this just another case of acquire the rights and stick 'em on a shelf? Any info would be great. Thanks. To be honest, I'd enjoy a series done either (a) as straightforward fantasy or (b) a Hercules the Legendary Journeys kind of thing, which was so damn cheesy it was good. At least to me. But I'm touched in the head, so what the hell. :)
Rinonalyrna Fathomlin 04-11-08, 12:02 PM	Ed Greenwood answered this question (or a similar one) on Candlekeep recently. There is currently no TV series about the FR in the works.
Ranger REG 04-12-08, 04:24 AM	I thought we buried this topic, since nothing new came out of it. Fireworks Entertainment optioned for the series but then dropped it. So far, no taker ... for a TV series or a film.
