Yesterday I bought a four CD set called "The Forgotten Realms Archives"

It contains: (DISK 1) Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Bands, Pools of Darkness, and Hillsfar; (DISK 2) Eye of the Beholder, Eye of the Beholder II, Eye of the Beholder III,and a special demo of Blood & Magic; (DISK 3) Dungeon Hack, Gateway to the Savage Frontier, and Treasures of the Savage Frontier; and (DISK 4) Menzoberrranzan. That is, all 12 Forgotten Realms Titles.

Does anyone (monitors included) have any information on running them on XP? What are they exactly (I couldn't get them to run). They are by TSR and Interplay (Interplay website was no help).

Any and all information is appreciated as I collect anything and everything I can DnD related (for the LOVE OF THE GAME).

Thanks in advance!

They are computer games and they probably won't run on XP since they were created for 3.1 or 95. :) Yes, they are ancient and computers are now way to fast for those games.

-Ouch, can't play 'em. Sorry about that, man.

-One thought. I am no computer expert, but is it possible to access the games though DOS. Put in the CD Drive:// command, or whatever it was? I know an old game I have for the PC (Sam & Max, by LucasArts) didn't work in Windows. But, when I put it in the CD in the CD Drive, went into DOS and tried to get it, it worked. Well, best of luck.

Search for DosBox on the net. It's a program for using Dos-Games on XP-Engines so that the games do not run so fast.

For Lucasarts-Games you have to use ScummVM. Or ScumVM. I don't remember.
