FR 3e by e-mail? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-10-08, 06:08 PM I've never played a game of D&D in my life. I used to own the AD&D 2e players guide when i was knee-high, had it memorized cover to cover but never knew anyone interested in adventures.

So now I'm all grown up years later, have been playing RPG's since, and I'm fiendishly addicted to anything paper back sporting the Forgotten Realms logo.

The other day whim bites me in the rump, and I find my self with copies of the Players Guide, DM Guide, MM, Arms and Equipment Guide, Spell Compendium and the FR and Underdark campaign settings as well as the Sons of Gruumsh Supplement, all in 3.5e.

Sitting here, overwhelmed with all this information i now have at my fingertips, I've been wondering. Is there a community dedicated to playing online, like in chat rooms or by e-mail maybe? I've been itching like crazy to get a game going for so long I'm about ready to move out of this town just to find a game.
