Long ago there was Myth Drannor and it was good. The Corornal dies, thats not so good. The Corornal's Heir dies... thats very bad. Three Fiends are released and everything goes boom!

Back to the third part, The Corornal's hier. She (and all of her Armentors) is choaked to death in (presumably) her sleep. The only evidence that is left is Elven finger marks around her and her guards necks and a little mud on the window sill that is not even native to the region.

Who did it? What (other than power and chaos) was the motivation.

I do apologize for the butchered spelling.

my best guess is that an elf, likely a drow fighter (any other class would have used other means) teleported in, used there their poisoned darts, then strangled them to make it look like a human or some other race, then hopped out the window, levitated to the ground, and ran off.
he ( it must have been a he, drow females would rather send a male to do their dirty work than do it themselves) was probably sent to set sparks to the rival city of Myth Drannor.

tell me if im anywhere close to the answer.

Unfortunately no.

The mythal of Myth Drannor not only prevenets any and ALL teleportation but it prohibits (and this is to my recolection) Drow, Illthids, Orcs, goblinoids, dopplegangers, cromatic dragons and around 7 other races from even entering the parimiter of the city.

So it is impossible for a drow to have done it themselves. Hiring someone is a possibility but then there is the problem of killing of 4 500+ year old gold elven wizard/fighter/I squish you (her "guards") with their bare hands; as the choaking wounds were the only ones on their bodies.

Well

the strength of the myth drannor mythal is not entirely known because there are 40 phaerimm underneath myth drannor who have been draining the mythal of its power to sustain themselves

because we dont know how long they have been there its quite posible the mythal was weak enough for something to get through

at that time myth drannor was almost at the beginnig of a civic revolt, elven families where fighting each other behind curtains. (see "cormanthyr: empire of the elves").

My guess is that it was a powerfull moon/gold/green elf with the aid of Lloth and Ghaunadaur----master of oozes, slimes, jellies ("marks around her and her guards necks and a little mud on the window") MUD - OOZE, same thing.
