FR novel timeline [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-12-06, 01:26 PM I've been hunting for a timeline for the novels lately, and while I found one that's really good, it hasn't been updated in four or five years. Does anyone know where I can find a timeline for the novels that's more up to date? My group and I play in the FR (obviously) and our DM likes to mention events that are happening in other parts of the realms, and we usually go along with what transpires in the novels. . . so I suppose you can see the problem if we have no idea when a novel is taking place. Thanks for the help in advance! :)

08-12-06, 02:22 PM well the dragonrage novels (the rite, the ruin, the rage) take place in 1373. the return of the Fey'ri takes place in 1374 (the last mythal series) so does Blackstaff with its lightning storms on the feast of the Moon. other than that I'm not sure when other novels occured.

I believe the cormyr series occur in 1372 while Elminster's daughter occurs either at the end of 1372 or in early 1373.

Enjoy :)

If this is the one you currently have, sorry for the repeat :), though i haven't seen a more updated one in my travels.

08-13-06, 04:14 PM Note that this list isn't without errors. For example, it lists all three books of the Twilight Giants Trilogy as happening in 1366, while there's a three-year break between the second and third books of that trilogy. I haven't read many FR novels, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few more errors on that list.
