FR Novels recommended reading order [Archive] - Wizards Community

As title says, im looking at getting all the books eventually but dont want to just read random books and end up confused :P

So, could you peeps point me in the right direction for which order i should read the FR books.

The various novels aren't connected to each other. There are a few series, but for the most part the stories in the novels do not depend on each other.

Since some novels cover thousands of years in their story and other only a couple of months (or less) you can't even bring them all into a fixed order according to the timeline of the FR
