What would it take to convince WotC's wonderful and lovely web staff to make PDFs to archive various FR web articles?

It'd be nice to download retired articles, such as Perilous Gateways or Wyrms of the North as big, giant PDFs instead of a) printing every single article or b) saving individual articles as PDFs and then hopefully having a means of combining said files into single files.

I know this was done for the Elminster Speaks series (and for the Mind's Eye series, which is not for the Realms). I'm not asking for anyone to update content to be 3.5 compliant (we gamers should be able to do that ourselves)! I just want handy, all-in-one resources to utilize when running Forgottem Realms adventures.

I suppose with current articles, there could be annuals. All the Realmslore of 2004, for example. Or by series within a given article type (The Realms of Nimbral, for example, using Realmslore again).

I could send some home made cookies (regular or vegan) or maybe a small donation? ... Or maybe sell my time to do it for the benefit of everyone else? ...

OK. At this point I'm begging. How sad...

Wow, cool. I've got some of the stuff myself, so I'll sort through it and then contact you. I'd do it myself but I'm in the market for a new computer and the less actual work-like activities I do on this ancient beast the better. Heheh. (It's over 5 years old, which by today's standards is pretty sad.)

I think the only one that's particularly lengthy that I don't have is Perilous Gateways. I have most of Realmslore, the Elminster Speaks archive, all the Wyrms of the North articles, the Minitiper's Chapbook ones, and a couple others. Like I said, I'll sort through what I've got (which won't take long, but I'll have to put it off 'til about Tuesday as I have stuff to do).

There is an online archive of the older web articles that you can get to from the main FR website. It's not in .pdf format, though.

"Elminster Speaks" (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/es/20030514a) is.

Let me take a look-c...

Thank you everyone, but Damador was able to help me out greatly. Again, D, thank you.

However, I still want to encourage or beg of WotC to go ahead with archives of old articles and/or periodical archives of current articles. Stressing as well that it's not neccessary to update content to 3/3.5e - the fluff matters more than anything else with the FR articles.

I've also been keeping the links in my FR FAQ. Yes I know I have to update it but it's not that far out of date. Granted some of the old articles aren't linked in it because I can't find them. :)

Which older articles can't you find in order to link to them?

Some of Stevens old stuff and a few others. Most of them are from the old web site though.
