| BrokenRulz12-05-03, 03:10 PM | I know I know, being the new guy I'm pretty cocky and all having only just begun to post on these boards and already beginning a couple different threads. Please believe I wouldn't do it unless I thought it would be an interesting thought or discussion. Yet here's one that another poster gave me the idea for while I was poking around: If you were a D&D character, what would you be and what would your stats be? No need to go into too much detail if you don't want to, though I'm sure many of you could. Yet here's the catch in this case...be true to who you are and really try to transmit yourself into the Forgotten Realms. So here goes, I'll begin with me. CN Human W-6/Th-5 Str 14, Dex 16, Con 13, Int 16, Wis 12, Ch 15 I think I'd make a fair wizard, but by nature I'd be a rogue. I keep in pretty decent shape, hence the average strength and higher dex. I'm no fool believe it or not, but due to my chaotic way of life I admit I'm not the wisest of creatures. Yet I'm a people person and don't shy from others, hence I think my charisma would be decent. If I lived anywhere in FR it'd be somewhere along the coast (without a doubt) and no place too cold, yet no place too far south. Waterdeep maybe or someplace along one of the Eastern Coasts. Lastly, I don't know that I'd belong to any exclusive group the Harpers are too goody goody and the Zhentarim would be too dangerous for this cautious kid. I'd fly solo, using my magic and thieving skills to stay alive and trust in Tymora's Luck to guide me and Mask's skills to keep me alive. |
| Kameron M Franklin12-05-03, 04:41 PM | While this might have flown before, under the current level of moderator activity, this post will likely be moved to a more appropriate forum, such as the FR General forum (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=56). They're being pretty strict about thread content these days, so stuff posted here should have something to do with FR novels. :) |
| WizO_BigSister12-05-03, 09:08 PM | Its an excellent idea - but yes it does belong in general. As you have posted this in the Realms I presume you ant us all to reply as if we were a character in the Forgotten Realms :) |

Explain to me how you're "adventuring" enough to gain any levels whatsoever. Further, explain how you'd have 6 levels in wizard as oppose to 5, or 7. I don't see the point in starting a thread like this. |
| Mr. Wilson12-06-03, 12:06 AM | In the poster's defence, according to the way XP is dealt with now, all you have to do is overcome challenges to be awarded XP. You snuck out of the house, you get XP. You aced that final, you get XP, etc. On the other hand, the best I can do is claim to be a level 28 EA Sports Gamer. Go NCAA and Madden, heh, heh. In DnD terms, I'm no more than a 3rd or 4th level Expert. |
| Wooly Rupert12-06-03, 12:39 AM | I'm a 6th-level smart-aleck, and 10th-level mischievous git! :D |
| Folcoerr12-06-03, 12:45 AM | N dwarf ranger 2/sorcerer 2. Str 12, Dex 12, Con 13, Wis 15, Int 16, Cha 11. That's all I got, too lethargic to get into detail. Perhaps later. |
| Aiden212-06-03, 11:08 PM | Myself: STR: 15; DEX: 6; CON: 16; INT: 16; WIS: 8; CHA: 9 10 commoner/ 20 Fat Man (self-derived PrC)/ 10 Napoleon Signing out (in all seriousness)...:turkey: |
| WizO_BigSister12-07-03, 10:24 AM | *Coughs and points to previous post* You've gotta give your responses to this a Realms slant or it will get moved. |
| Adrian Moonbow12-09-03, 08:49 AM | OK, let me try... Male human, str: 10, dex: 13, con: 9(cough), int: 17, wis: 13, cha: 7. I believe I would qualify as a wizard working in a temple of Mystra or Gond (due to my interest in physics and things that go *BOOM*) or maybe a library, wizard's lab or... I would probably live somewhere on the Moonshae Isles, in the northern part of the Sword Coast or maybe even with the Harpells:D (would fit in nice with my nerdity). Level-wise I would only qualify as a mid level wuzzard:rolleyes: . Me in a NUTshell:D |
