Because the katana has brought much arguement to these boards...I think more than any other subject.

Heh, that's funny in an absurd way. So did you guys look through the thread? My personal favorite weapon was the Dire Elminster of Shadow Flail!

It reminds me back in my young and navie days when I created the three-handed sword for a three armed creature I created...atleast the people I was playing with at the time was just as young and naive...
Though I am thankful I didn't know about Marliths at the time as a six-handed sword would have been absurd.

-We people at the FR boards are a bit more..."high class" than the people in the Generic D&D boards. It's best to not associate ourselves to closely with them. ;)

12-09-07, 02:45 AM The problem lies in the fact that most people mistakenly think it is a Japanese weapon, when anyone with any brains knows it can only be handled properly by someone from the Highlands of Scotland. :P

-We don't have a 'Katana'. Sure, we argue about the Ilythiiri, the Dracorage, Shar, or whatever it is, but we've never argued to the point where the actual topic became so disruptive that it was banned.

12-09-07, 10:08 AM Very good. Those katana threads were funny though. Does it do 1d8/18-20 or does it do 2d8+1/x3 ? It should be able to cut through all armor so it requires a touch attack... That stuff was hilarious.
