gathering info on Silverymoon [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-12-05, 10:30 AM I'm trying to gather info on cleric/paladin (if any) faiths and temples in Silverymoon. Are there organized faiths in the city? or are they more like shrines dedicated to a deity with a few clerics to oversee maintenance? Which books/magazines should I look for?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found the North download and it has some good stuff on Silverymoon. Did not know there was such a strong Helm presence there. But could still use help on second Q. :D

Also, are there accessory books/articles that have info on Selgaunt, Sembia? I have the Sembia novels which provide good info but am curious are there any manuals. I do have the Guide to Faerun which has some info but its vague at best.

Ed Greenwood has some web articles about that city. I've collected them in my WOTC's FAQ of Links, which can be found in the FR FAQ forum here on the boards.

Volo's Guide to the North
One of the early Drizzt novels has scenes of the city.
The FRCS
And Ed Greenwood also gave us more lore about that city in his 04 and 05 files, see my sig for the link.

Selgaunt:
The 1e and 2e campaign box sets.
FR Adventures.
The FRCS.

Sembia doesn't have a lot of lore because it was one of the places that was left open, in the old lore, for DM's to detail.
