| Gallameed01-31-07, 01:58 PM | Hiya sweet peas! Questions for ya's. A. I want to play a murky eyed gnome wizard who happens to wear specs/gegs/glasses... spectacles. How common are these things in faerun? What about monacles (spl?) B. Dragonborn, what colour are they, I suppose they could be any mettalic colour eh? what with them being big B's ''children''? C. Hair dye, common, uncommon, where can my other character (a dwarf) get his beard styled and coloured by an expert, decent barbers around Silvermoon anywhere? D. Gold elves, their the tallest elf subrace in general (so far) right? Ta. |
| Faraer01-31-07, 02:33 PM | Among the urban middle classes spectacles and monocles are fairly widely available; City of Splendors lists a price of 5–10 gp per pair in Waterdeep. Among humans, hair dying is mostly an upper-class affectation whose popularity waxes and wanes with fashion. I don't recall if dwarves do it much. I'm sure Silverymoon has excellent barbers and hairdressers, but they probably don't do much ornate beardwork. Gold/sun, moon and most other kinds of elves average about the same height. |

| Khaelieth01-31-07, 04:26 PM | Prestidigation, perhaps. I've happened to let a gnome turn a dwarf's beard green once. That was fun. |
