Geography help [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-07-06, 04:03 PM The Western Hemisphere of Toril, aside from Maztica(sp?) has any of it been described/founded on any maps or any books anywhere, or is it still uncharted/undiscovered territory?

I'm curios, because I have decided to throw my hand in at attempting to write a novel, and I was planning on using a previously undiscovered part of Toril.

The continent north of Maztica is Ancherome I believe. There hasn't been anything detailed of it. I have heard that an aerial race (one of the Creator Races?) has remnants there, but I'm not sure if that was fact or mere speculation.

-Yep. Odds are that things were left blank intentionally, to allow DMs to do whatever it is that they please in those lands.

-I wouldn't say that too loudly. You never know- your DM may be a member who is reading this particular post. He/she might take offense, and it is never good when DMs have any kind of animocity towards a particular PC. That usually ends with a dead PC... :weep:
