| themind08-06-07, 07:09 PM | I am in the process of planning a campaign with the Cormyr: Tearing of the Weave and adventures that follow it, but I want to run an adventure before it and I am not quite sure what would work. Would anyone have any suggestions on what I should use before running Cormyr? Thanks. |

Of course it will require some updates by your part to fit the 3.5 edition rules but the monsters contained therein are easily found in 3.5's Monster Manuals books so it won't be hard. |

I've started my PCs at lvl 1 playing the classic module The Sunless Citadel. I've placed the small town of Oakhurst roughly 2 days travel northeast of Suzail. Most of the characters revere Mystra as their patron deity. The lost adventures they are trying to find are Harpers themselves, and their success in this mission determines their own initiation into the Harpers organization. That should get them up to 3rd or 4th level, and I think a group of Harpers that revere Mystra should make excellent heroes for the Cormyr adventure. If I find that they are barely level 3 by the end of the adventure, I'm going to try to set up The Twilight Tomb adventure as a precursor to Cormyr. I just haven't figured out how to get a group of lvl 3 heroes from southern Cormyr to Aglarond (and back again) in a easy way that will take a short amount of time. Beyond the location issue, I got a few other problems with the Twilight Tomb module, so I might just forget it and fudge some XP to advance the party along enough to start the Cormyr module. |
