Good starting adventure for FR? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-20-03, 01:09 PM What would be a great starting adventure Idea in a campaign? Nothing too long drawn out as to start railroading but just to get the characters introduced and bond a bit. I want the players to have a free sense and know that they can do anything they want (with reasonable consiquence of course). Just something to identify each players play style and rp'ing abilities. Good Locations, character hooks, anything would be a great help in my FR campaign. :behold: :angel:

You could look at this thread, where we listed most of the FR modules through the last 16 years of printed FR material.

12-20-03, 02:34 PM The Raiders of Galath's Roost (Dungeon #87) is one of my favorite starting adventures. I'ts already third edition (3.0 not 3.5), open-ended, and a lot of fun.

I'd also suggest Haunted Halls of Eveningstar, and The Sword of the Dales but these adventures will need converting to 3.5.

I want to convert parts of this to the Silver Marches.

Drow = Orcs

Zhentarim = Gray Wolf Tribe

Eye of Grumpsh for the Eye of Bane

Whatcha think for starters?

12-23-03, 11:26 AM I converted Return to the Keep on the Borderlands for FR / Silver Marches play & it worked out quite well.
