| Am_I_Still_Unconscious02-05-06, 07:02 PM | What would the cost for a figurine of wondrous power (onyx panther) be? |
| Another Gnome02-06-06, 02:27 AM | If you use the FRCS stats, I'd say 20,000 gp is a nice round sum. She's not significantly more powerful than the onyx dog figurine, after all, and the dog even has a few advantages over her. The version of Guen found here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=books/fr/lonedrowstats) is more difficult, but fortunately the obsidian steed figurine shares some of the more complex abilities. Guen is physically more powerful, however, so I'd make it 30,000 gp minimum. For a more accurate estimate, feel free to reverse engineer the cost per HD of the base figurines and add to that Guen's magical abilities as per item creation rules. The result in the latter version will likely climb up to a 6-digit number that way, though. |
| Silverpanther02-06-06, 02:57 AM | they really did not set a price... never seen that :D |
| White_Wizard02-06-06, 08:05 AM | I figure that Guen's price would be entirely nominal unless pre-Drizzt times. |
| createvmind02-06-06, 07:56 PM | If you asking about a typical wondorous then go with the prices listed, Guen is not a typical item, in fact the process was never completed the way it was supposed to be. She is a unique creation and her "creator" was unclear as to how or what exactly happened , for further details her story is aptly her name in the Realms of Arcane or Magic novel. |
