I'm reading an FR novel and there's mention of a half-golem or human with iron grafted on to part of his body. Does anyone know where I can find the rules for such a thing.

Thanks.

Monster Manual 2 has the rules for the half-golem template. Dorn is a half-iron golem.

a multiheaded lernean 1/2 clay golem would be far better :D

..unaffected by any damage that doesent cut off a head, and 1/2 clay golem makes said creture immune to slashing weapons.. only way to cut off heads..

I suppose this still leaves such issues as drowning, entombed under a million tons of rock or stranded on a demiplane of antimagic without portals.

..and for purely cosmetic reasons id recommend having developed a spell that merges the heads. Oh for becoming multiheaded? Wish or having a "ettins blessing" developed. Lernean should be addable aswell by enchantment made permanent, if you arent born that way.

Archmage with Mastery of Shaping = razor-thin Disintegrate spell across several necks simultaneously = dead hydra.

Youngsters - no imagination... ;)
