Hello.. im just looking for info on the Harpers.. specifically what type of oath would one swear when they join the organization?

Any help or tips on what such an oath would be or is, would be appreciated.

2e's The Code of the Harpers is the best book. It can be found at rpgnow.com as a 5 dollar ESD.

There really isn't a oath they have to swear... They just have to keep the balance, protect nature, magical works, and care about people.....

Actually, i think there is an oath, or at least a set of strict rules which they must abide by. If you screw up, you get carted off to the Citadel of White Exile, which is where Blackstaff should have went, but I am sure his relationship with Mystra and the other chosen prevented this.

There are "rules" but there's no joining oath that you have to swear to join.

Cool. I thought there was some such oath mentioned in Heroes Lorebook. Either way, just play by their rules and you should be fine.

There's a code of behavior in Heroes Lorebook. :) Which is also in Code of the Harpers.
