When the Widen Spell feat was initially given to spellcasters, it increased the any numeric measurements of the spell's area by 50%. When you became a fifth level War Wizard, any spells you cast with the Widen Spell feat increased the spell's area by a 100%.

Now that 3.5 has rolled around, and made the Widen Spell Feat increase spell areas by 100%, what happens to the War Wizard's Enhanced Spell Area? Do they cast their spells now with a 150% increase in area? Thanks for your input on this matter.

Ask Rich Baker that same question in the following thread: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=4924859#post4924859
