Hi all,

I'm running a game very soon and I haven't really had chance to write much of anything. I've got a copy of the 2nd ed module Hellgate Keep and I was going to run that and I was wondering if anyone had done any work 3.5ing it?

I've found the magic item write-ups in Player's Guide to Faerun which is a decent start...

Cheers!

Depends on what you are doing. If your using the current Timeline Hellgate Keep is nothing more than ruins now, the demons defeated by the Harpers. I dont think WoTC has published much on it since the new campaign setting came out because of that.

I do know as information that Harpers used the Artifact known as "The Gatekeepers crstal to destroy hellgate keeps magical wards to invade the fiends living there.

Its a device with 3 crystals that lock together when combined. when used they create a very powerful Mordenkainens Disjunction capabale of destroying any magic no matter how powerful, once used it seperates into 3 pieces and scatters across the multiverse.

Its off topic I know but thats the most recent thing thats happened there. Consequently Half-Fiend sun elves used the device again to open the fabled "Nameless Dungeon"

If, OTOH, your timeline is slightly behind the FRCS's and you want to use Hellgate Keep, you may want to check the following boards or post a conversion request:

There has been posts on the FR mailing list, as well, unless it was you who posted on the list (in which case you already know).

Yep, that's all detailed in the module, cheers. Interesting to note the Gatekeeper's Crystal is used again, might need to remember that.
