A friend of mine who is a dm said that he is running a anti-hero group. Characters are a 10th level tannaruk barbarian, 13th level human half-fiend cleric of Bane, and a fey'ri rogue 8/assassin 7. The player of the cleric is great at spell selections and really thinking out her actions. The tannaruk has ungodly strength 26 when rage is active. The fey'ri is just deadly. He says the problem is some of the things he has thrown at them they have just destroyed. He would like to really challenge them. Any ideas would great and I will pass them along.

Problem with this is his party is a little unbalanced, the ECL of the group is off, 2 being 17, and the Tanarukk is only 13? Normally i'd suggest throwing monsters with Higher CRs than the average, but the Tanarukk would most likely die out while the rest of the party lived on to fight, tell the DM his problem will most likely remain without solution, while his party remains unbalanced...

-Magic weapons/armor/accessories always seem to solve the problem of unbalanced party levels... :)

Please stick to Faerun specific :)

Tannarruk, Fey'ri, and Bane are Faerun-specific elements; they don't exist elsewhere.

As Karsus said: magic items.
If the DM thinks that this would give access to a loot too great, use spells: impressing effects, without each encounter ending to be christmas day ;)
