| Aery10-18-03, 05:48 AM | Hallo, I'd need information about fairs or things like that, does anybody know where I can find this kind of information (dnd3e manuals or web resource!) ? Does anybody know anything about the midsummer's holyday in Silverymoon (green meadow holyday or something like that, sorry I don't know the proper name in English and I translated it from the Italian)? I'd like to know what does happen during it and things like that or where I could find info about it. Thanks everybody, any help would be much appreciated!!! Aery |

Well the fairs I have been to in real life have been like that I would presume fairs in the realms would be quit similar, one’s sponsored by a big city would probly have Lantana fireworks or some type of showy magic show as a grand finally leading to the nights end. Theres also usually some type of thyme to a fair usually this thyme is always the same for that type of fair (ex. Based on a season, a towns most historical moment, a style, a fruit, and any thing really.). Also fairs usually last a few weeks in case you’ve never been to one. I don’t know any rules for tournaments or any thing like that, but I’m not too sure of what kinda tournaments would be in a FR fair I would guess it would be what was popular in that area like some people have chili cook offs while others see who can grow the biggest pumpkin. I would presume that there might be more sporting contest like archery, the thing with the lance umm… jousting, tight rope walking, dancing, the 100k dash I don’t really know the fairs I’ve been to didn’t really have any competitions that I took note of or noticed going on. |

The same company also prints The Taverner's Trusty Tome. (http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/news/enpublishing/) I have not tried these products, but I have been eyeing them. If you like them, post back to let me know what you think. |
