| telldel06-27-07, 09:47 PM | I am just getting back into reading Forgotten Realms novels after taking some time off in college... I have about a 4-5 year hole in my collection that I need to fill (about 25 or so novels). I have been to all of the used book stores in my area and purchased all of the ones I could find, and I own all of the novels that are currently in print. I don't want to pay shipping charges through Amazon or ebay or anything like that for each of these books (like I said, I still need about 25 novels to complete my collection). Does anybody have any thoughts as to how I can find these books? They seem to be very difficult to locate... TELLDEL |

| Red_Wizard06-28-07, 08:49 AM | There are only two answers here. Luck out and find the ones you need, or lay out the cash for them online. I have had to spent slightly ridiculous amounts on some books, just to acquire them in a condition that was better than well worn. If you however are not picky on the quality then Chapters.ca has used books of varying quality, that will often be fairly cheap for the lower end ones. |

| Ebrion06-28-07, 10:50 PM | Try everywhere, Used bookstores, Goodwill, garage sales. I went to a big garage sale at the fairgrounds in my city and found the Avatar Trilogy in original paperback, Pool of Radiance, and the first 2 Harpers series novels. |

| Aloki06-29-07, 06:26 AM | I have found that quite a few of the bigger Borders may have some of the OLD books, but you are looking for the more recent ones, which they should have... If you live near Ann Arbor Michigan, they have a GIANT two-story borders, that has a fairly big Fantasy/Sci-fi section. Even the one that I usually go to, has an entire wall, probably about 40ft. long, dedicated to fantasy:) |
