Help me create a background for a Psion (Seer) in FR [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-21-06, 07:17 PM Well, basically I need some background for a seer anywhere in the FR.

Race Elan or Human, whatever is easier for you, around 25 years old. Hopefully from someplace close to a big city anywhere between Comyr and Anauroch.

Here is something, may not work for you, but...

Born on the road as many of the Gur people are, your family came to Iriaebor to work for a few seasons. As a youth, you took on the job of cleaning out the stalls of the Blacktalon Mercenary Company. One day, working in the stall of a particularly rambunctious stallion, said character was kicked in the head. Fearing the worst, you were brought back to your family, where your grandmother watched over you, nursing you back to health.

After several days, you related to your grandmother the dreams you had while you were sleeping. She told you it was a gift of Saveras, you saw the history of your people in small clips, starting from people running from demons summoned from the Narfel demonbinders, to places your ancestors traveled.

From then on, your grandmother has done what she can to teach you what she can of your new powers, which wasn't much.

02-25-06, 01:20 AM -Aw, come on. Not to sound mean or anything, but do it yourself! Making up his/her background is about 90% of the fun of the game!

Hmm.. for an NPC.. from Anauroch, shunned by his people due to his magic.
If he's a psionic, then he found NO teacher :)

Learned to have controllable visions. The rest can depend on his alignment.
(Might be interesting if he's related to that sleeping psionic god... it's time for some psionic vengeance)

For a PC... do everything horrible you can imagine to him. That'll make him interesting :)

Was washed in Jackal's **** at birth. This and many other horrible experiences over the years, broke down the worldly barriers around his mind, unleashing the psionic potential of his soul. The change was so terrible, so awe inspiring that after twenty five years of such experiences, he finally left his home country after having become a first level psionic :)
