I am running a campaign in Cormyr as DM, and have just purchased the Player's Guide to Faerun. The timeline shows some recent events that I would like to insert in the campaign. Though, I need more details about those events (the fall of Tilverton, the fate of Vangerdahast, etc.).
Do anyone knows where can I find that information? I checked most online timelines and don't have it.

The fall of Tilverton is in the Return of Shade novels by Troy Denning.

Not sure what you mean by the fate of Vangy, unless you mean when he disappeared during the war where Azoun died..... That could be found in Death of a Dragon and Into the Dragon’s Lair

No, I've read somewhere that he had a part in the destruction of Tilverton and got mad.

I believe FRCS has Cormyr still suffering from the Gazneth Wars and the environmental problems caused by the Shades melting the High Ice. Vangerdahast went into seclusion and appointed Caladnei as Royal Mage. Don't know where he went or if he's still even in the Castle somewhere but he's supposedly bowed out for now.
Since only 2-3 of the Shade's blankets were destroyed, I think Cormyr's in trouble for a while, agriculture wise, plus...most, maybe like 80%, of the Purple Dragons and War Wizards are dead and their ranks haven't been refilled yet. A lot of mercenary hiring is what it seems like.
And Vangerdahast did "aid" in the destruction of Tilverton, in a roundabout, egotistical way. Pure Shadow Weave Magic from the invading Shade warriors combined with an invention he had made that put out pure Weave Magic to kill them combined and then the dark "mass" grew on it's own and destroyed the city.
