After taking a 6 year vacation from D&D (active duty military life tends to do that...), I'm attempting to get back into the game. I'm completely unaware of the majority of the FR novels, with the exception being following Salvatore when I get a chance.

I either own or have access to the following:

DM's guide
Players Guide
Monster manuals
FR Campaign book*
City of Splenords: Waterdeep*
Races of the Wild*

*currently enroute from Amazon

I also have Twilight Tomb, which if memory serves, was an old AD&D module.

So, that being said, let me ask this:

Where's our old favorites updated into the v3.5 rules, specifically the Ruins of Myth Drannor and Undermountain (I loved both of these)?

What ever happened to the Zhentarium and the Red Wizards of They?

I'm missing ALOT, so an "update" so to say would be much appreciated.

-Let me also suggest picking up: Player's Guide to Faerūn. PGtF basically updates the FRCS a bit. And, if you don't have any of the 2e deity books, then pick up Faiths and Pantheons.

-Well, there have been some developments in Myth Drannor, as of late. Mainly...
The Fey'ri underneath Hellgate Keep escaped, and made Myth Drannor their main base of operations. A Crusade of Elves from Evermeet, Evereska, and Dalesfolk routed the Fey'ri, and in the current timeline, they are mopping things up. In the future, we know that the city becomes inhabited by the Elves once more, and that Ilsevele Miritar becomes the new Coronal of the city.

What ever happened to the Zhentarium and the Red Wizards of They?

-The Zhents are still around, led by Fzoul. And, the Red Wizards are, also still around led by Szazz Tam.
