[By the way, if someone sees an issue with the combo of Incantatrix (abjuration specialist who is good at thwarting extraplanar beings) with Nar Demonbinder (basically what the name implies- good at summoning/controlling extraplanar beings), it's because my guy figures it's a smart idea to be able to "put down what you call up"... anywho... ] now, Incantatrix must specialize in Abjuration. I take Evocation as my prohibited school. Nar Demonbinder casts spells as a sorcerer. more than one spell on their list (and they have a specialized list) is evocation. could the character learn and cast an evocation spell from their Nar Demonbinder list? ;) |

So being able to cast Evocation spells from a sorcerer's list does not mean you can cast an Evocation spell because you have restricted yourself with the other PrC. Then again, that is just MHO. Some others may feel different, but since you cannot even use magic devices from the evocation field (wands,staves,etc...) I would say it's a prohibited school all the way around. Just my 2cp worth. :fight!::king::fight!: |

The Incantrix are people who devote there lives to get rid of extraplaner intrusion on the material plane. While a Nar Demonbinder is a person who masters the black art of demon summoning. It's like combining a Hathran PrC with a Red Wizard PrC or Zhentarim Skymage PrC with a Harper Agent PrC. If your PC wants to be good at getting rid of the Demons he summons, he should take feats and learn the right spells for it. |
