08-04-03, 08:04 PM Does anyone have the Heroes lorebook? the 2nd Edition revamp of the hall of heros?

I need to know if the Knights of Myth Drannor are detailed in it. Or if they are only just detailed in the hall of heroes.

Thanks!@

Some of them are updated in it. Page 154 near the end of the book. However, not all of them are updated since some of them stopped adventuring.

08-04-03, 08:15 PM Heroes' Lorebook has one page on the Knights, enough for a capsule story of the band and basic stats. FR7 Hall of Heroes has the main 14-page writeup. Ed:None of the direct lore has been written by me (John Nephew did the original FR7 writeups, using some original character sheets), and none of it has been in products that tried to tell you all about the Knights...in effect, all you've seen are brief 'highlights,' perhaps as modern-day folks might put on their resumes.TSR and Wizards deliberately hedge about what the Knights are up to post-1358 in honour of the campaign in which they're still played as PCs.

Does the heroes lorebook have more detailed write up on other famous adventuring companies? I need some fleshed out adventuring companies for my campaign.

08-04-03, 09:21 PM Half a page on the Rangers Three. I recommend FR7 (http://store.yahoo.com/svgames-store/tsr9252esd.html). The Ruins of Myth Drannor also has writeups to two bands, one good and one evil. Some members of the famous but disbanded Company of Crazed Venturers are described in City of Splendors. The 1987 Campaign Setting has basic information several adventuring companies.

08-05-03, 09:03 AM There is also the old FR15 Accessory Gold and Glory, by Tim Beach, which describes mercenary companies from all over Faerūn and which contains a chapter on adventuring companies. If you can find a copy (real or ESD), it should contain some of what you're looking for.

08-05-03, 11:01 AM Speaking of Ruins of Myth Drannor, I tried to download the ESD last nite...and the main download was like 15.0MB, which is about right. But then there are like 7 different pieces that you also download..the strange thing is...Each one of these extra downloads, are also 15.0mb.

Frustrating uigh.
