heros pools of twilight? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-10-07, 09:15 PM hello to u all. i'm interested to find some info on the Pool of Twilight heros. Like Kern, Listle, Daile, the paladin Miltiades & Evaine. I got the book when it first came out in 1993. and i recently read it again. just wondering if anything new happened.

08-10-07, 09:36 PM Kern and Militiades appear in the Double Diamond Triangle Saga, which isn't entirely canonical. I think The Paladins is their book. I haven't read much of DDTS, so I couldn't say that they did.

I never read that series. How was that? What was it about? Why isn't it canon?

Pool of Radiance was the first Forgotten Realms book I've read (either that one or the U.K. version of The Crystal Shard, I can't remember which one), and I liked the Campaign setting ever since.

08-11-07, 09:35 AM I've only read Book 1 of DDTS (have you been following the Utter East thread?). I thought it was quite good.

The series is set in 1377, Khelben Arunsun and other famous NPCs are still active or are in the wrong locations (it being printed 10 years ago), and there are several large continuity errors, so it's been decided as non-canonical (I think that's why), probably to avoid confusion. It might be counted when 1377 actually rolls around.

Hopefully the Phlan WE for Mysteries Of The Moonsea will include info on the Pools series.
