Passivearmada 08-16-07, 05:03 PM	I'm looking forward to this book coming out, on the account that I know nothing about the realms, except what is in the Legend of Drizzt, The Sellswords Trilogy, and Darkwalker on Moonshae. I'd also appreciate if you guys could fill me in a bit. You know, tell me about anything major that happenned. It would help me and all the other people not too familiar with the Realms. Thanks.
MarkusTay63 08-16-07, 06:13 PM	The 'quick and dirty' version - 1) The Creator races evolved... 2) The Creator races died... 3) The Dragons and Giants ruled Toril... 4) They pretty much died out too... 5) Goblinoids, Gnolls, and Orcs took over, while humans were still trying to come out of caves... 6) Elves showed up (uninvited)... 7) The Goblinoids, Gnolls, Orcs, and what was left of the Dragons and giants were systematically killed off by the invaders... 8) The Elves have a LONG series of Wars... 9) The Dark Elves are banished from the surface for being slightly more evil then the others... 10) The Dwarves leave the Yehimals and the Elves have a few more wars... 11) Some genies show up in Calimport and start to party... 12) Rise of Imaskar... 13) Rise of Netheril... 14) Rise of Jaamdath... 15) Fall of Imaskar, Rise of Mulhorand and Unther... 16) Rise of Raumanther and Narfell 17) Karsus screws up, Fall of Netheril (literally)... 18) Fall of Jaamdath... 19) Fall of Raumanther and Narfelll... 20) The Elves Retreat... 21) The Time of Troubles 22) The Tuigan invasion (The Crusade)... 23) Azoun of Cormyr dies, end of an era... 24) The Netherese enclave Shade returns... 25) Khelben brings back a Dark Elven city from the past, but drops dead when he realizes there aren't any Dark Elves in it... 26) Halaster's soul is 'shattered' (whatever the hell that means)... And that just about sums up 35,000 years of history, minus a couple million details... :rolleyes:
