Athas vs Toril

For some reason a portal opens up piercing the gray and black and connecting athas and Faerun. It’s Large enough for any sized creature to go through and works as often as possible.

Both exits are in the wilderness, say 25 miles from the nearest habitation.

What happens?

What happens if war breaks out?

Please remember both worlds will contend with each planets unique set up. Some things that work in Athas may not work in Toril and so forth.

(this is just for fun)
(our little group decided Athas has the advantage)
(crud the crazy wild halfings would cause more trouble than you can imagine.)

the last one was earth vs faerun which turned into reality vs dnd

This is between two completly dissimilar worlds with the same mechanics i'm sure someone on the Ds board can direct you too the 3.5 conversion of athas if you really need to compare. DnD lost the majority of its game worlds in the conversion of ADD to 3e. Now with some of the old world making a comeback its fun to see how they stack up to each other. Plus this "cross posting" merely allows the maximum possible range of viewpoints

07-30-04, 01:06 AM The Realms massive population, large numbers of magic users, and high number of iconic characters allow the Realms to win even though characters from Athas are stronger on average than characters from the Realms.

Also, the quality of Faerūnian weaponry (being made out of metal) is far superior to anything that the Athasians (Is this right?) could ever muster (given the fact that their weapons are made out of bone, obsidian and wood). This is advantage #2.
