| The Spellcasting Sorcerer11-06-03, 12:23 PM | As in, "I am a Master of Sorcere, the academy where drow arcane magic is taught." I think it's pronounced sorcery, but it only has a different spelling. A few of the players in my group think it's pronounced "SORE-sear." So, which one is it, or is it something totally different? |
| City611-06-03, 12:28 PM | I'm sure there's an official guide lurking somewhere, but in the Icewind Dale games (although those are maybe not the greatest guides...), it pronounced sore-SEER (rhyming with year), by various different voice-actors. |
| Conan11-07-03, 01:20 PM | Well I and my friends always thought it was pronounced: Sauce-air |
| primemover00311-08-03, 10:05 PM | It could also be SOAR-SEER-AY. I remember some note about every vowel being pronounced in a lot of RAS and Greenwood's characters and place names. |
| Gez11-09-03, 07:40 AM | Sorcéré. Soar-say-ray. |
