| Mr Dolph12-06-05, 09:09 AM | As the title. The reason why i ask this is because the FR seems to have a dozen more Greater Gods then in Greyhawk. I know that in FR the number of creatures worshipping a deity decides the Gods DR. And yes in Greyhawk it doesn't work that way. But i still think that FR has more humanoids then in the Greyhawk(CORE) setting. |

I think that there is a belief that Greyhawk might not be as big because it is mostly broken up into kingdoms. This creates the illusion that it is smaller just because it has been defined. Some of these countries are rather big and take up quite a bit of room. Of course, I have not gotten out the maps and checked the miles to see how big each is. I'm sure someone can do that just to make sure. |

| Lord Karsus12-12-05, 11:42 PM | I'm not too sure about Greyhawk, since I've never played there, but the Realms may seem bigger because of the massive amount of literature about it. There's novels, multi-edition sourcebooks, yada, yada, yada. The Forgotten Realms sourcebooks also seem to be concentrated into different ideas (RoF, LEoF, FRCS, Und., SS, and so on), so the amount of info on just even alittle tidbit of info on the most trivial thing can be up to a page. |
