How much would it cost to buy a building in Suzail? [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-13-06, 12:59 AM My players are wanting to buy or lease real estate in Suzail and I am at a loss for setting a price. Is there any sourcebook or website that tells how much it costs to buy a building in any city in Faerun? Or even just in core D&D?

Specifically I need to know:

1) How much it would cost to buy (or rent) a small wizards workshop, maybe with an attached residence or basic flat.

2) How much it would cost to buy an average-size warehouse in a seedy dock district.

3) How much it would cost to buy or rent a regular house, or rowhouse.

Any ideas would be appreciated! :)

09-13-06, 02:33 AM It's for Waterdeep, but you can always use Steven's "Property Values in Waterdeep" details to plot out something similar for Suzail.

09-17-06, 08:16 PM Really? Perhaps you should pay a little more attention to what these noble families actually DO. Thieves guilds exist solely so that these noble families can spy on each other and their own family members.

The Obarskyrs are hardly the only ones who have a spy network, and this is supplemented by lots of independant contractors. Cormyr has so much intrigue that people never touch just because it's not the main thematic focus of the area.
