I have an Idea about the Theme I want to do which is Undead (started looking at the Libris Mortis book) I just dont know where to go to look up information about Undead in the Forgotten Realm Setting. I would like to know where I can go on the net or book to get a wealth of knowledge in history, timelines, Location of Faerun. Or if you have any Ideas or suggestions in to put into this campaing. I want to make sure it lasts long enough to the point that my group could potentially level up very high. What deities are out there that would influence someone to control the Undead or perhaps an arch lich demenour. I know alot of you have alot more wealth of knowledge then I do since I just started to read up on the entire world of faerun, and there is so much information I dont know where to focus on and sofourth.. Thanks for your Help I would love to make sure this is an on going process perhaps.

Dieties: Velsharoon (demi-power of undead)[Faiths & Pantheons (FP)], Myrkul (dead god of the dead but has living cultist that either have access to the "crown of horns" or the "servant of the fallen" feat)[FP and Lost Empires of Faerun (LE)], Kiaransalee (drow goddess of undead and vengence)[FR and City of the Spider Queen (CotSQ) a great 10-20th level adventure against undead], maybe Set in Mulhorandi (god of many things including evil magic, undead would make the god of the dead Osiris mad)[FP], Orcus (the demon-lord/lesser diety of undead that is most common in the Narfell region and Impiltur)[FP and a little in Champions of Ruin (ChR)] Organizations: Cult of the Dragon (they worship undead dragons and have connections with various evil dieties) [FRCS, ChR, Lords of Darkness (LoD), and the 2nd ed. book "Cult of the Dragon" I think that it is in the free downloads section], Red Wizards of Thay (Zulkir Zass Tam is an epic lich necromancer who has entire armies of undead at his beck and call, the red wizards have created a number of unique undead for their armies, plus the diety Velsharoon use to be a red wizard) [FRCS, LoD, and Unapproachable East (UE)] Locations: Battle of the Bones (huge old battle site with undead present) [FRCS], The Boneyard (underdark site that is the home base of an undead army lead by a dwarven vampire) [Underdark (UD)], general underdark lich "kingdoms" (see UD p. 121), the nation of Thay (ruled by the red wizards, see above, use undead in various ways) [FRCS, LoD, & UE], Individuals: Larloch (netherese "ultra"-lich who commands over 20 other liches in a "hive mind" though he is only really concerned with magical research) [LoD, LE, various others, there are various threads on him as well], Zulkir Zass Tam (see above), Morasha of the Lonely Morr (human necromancer from the time of netheril still alive) [LE], Aumvor the Undying (netherese lich arch-wizard(necro) who has been hiding for centuries, he is Morasha's great-grandfather as well) [ChR], there is a vampire lord of waterdeep [Waterdeep: city of splendors, 3 dungeon magazine adventures], many, many others
